[He can definitely feel it. He can feel the fire burning under his own skin, wild and feverish. It almost takes his breath away, makes him delirious as Heizou's hands explore his chest. The knee parting his legs is making everything worse. He moans helplessly under it all, legs parting easily as his body shivers. It's only Heizou's voice that brings him back to reality.]

I-I...

[He takes a deep breath, heat still there, need so obvious in his barely opened eyes. He's never felt like this before. He's never...]

...I've never... done this before.

[His confession is quiet and he looks almost apologetic after saying it. Honestly, no matter how much he wants this it still feels overwhelming, like he's thrown into an ocean. Except the water is boiling.

One of Aether's hand falls onto Heizou's keeping it under the fabric of his shirt. He wants to be touched. He wants to feel the other against his skin. It feels so good, so wonderful.

But...]

I just... need a moment. [He looks almost ashamed of himself when he's asking for that. Here is the grand hero of Teyvat overwhelmed and close to passing out from the heat of the moment.]

[When Aether speaks Heizou raises his head so he can look down at him properly, his movements slowing to a complete halt. He's still a little breathless with want, but this is important. He'd stop time itself to let the Traveler speak if he had to.

The soft admission gets Heizou to smile, though. He's not surprised by it at all, and it's exactly the reason he asked. He knows that it's one thing to want to throw everything out the window and surrender to the waves of heat and passion. It's quite another thing entirely to actually do it. So he just reaches up with one hand to gently brush some of Aether's hair out of his, leans in to press a soft, sweet kiss to the tip of his nose.]

Take as much time as you need. [His own smile is soft as he nuzzles gently into Aether's cheek.] There's no rush~

[He really doesn't mind. Contrary to how he typically comes across, Heizou is actually extremely picky about who he takes to bed. He's always been pretty physical with his affections and he flirts with others like it's a game, something he'll often use to butter people up for information or to get his way. And kissing is fun sometimes, but teasing is more effective. It's been a long time since he's last wanted someone the way he wants Aether. Which is exactly why he'll wait as long as has to for him.]

Your first time should be special. [His wasn't, but that's because his didn't matter the way Aether's does.] I'll bring flowers and candles and everything~ I can woo you~

[Aether seems to visibly relax, almost melting into the mattress, eyes closed as he's given the soft affection. It's a relief that Heizou doesn't mind, but then again... he should've expected that. No matter what others think of the detective, Aether knows how kind he can be.

The last part makes him blush heavily once more. He peers at the other with a small frown.]

I... don't need candles or flowers. [He nuzzles his cheek against Heizou's in return.] All I need is you. Everything... is special because it's with you.

[If it wasn't already obvious how dear his partner is to him, then Aether will find all the ways to tell him about it.]

And um... I'll be fine as long as we take it easy.

[Nobody came by, which means they likely have all the time in the world. Probably. If it was only easier to just get up and lock the door, then they would definitely have all the time in the world.]

[Heizou can't help but chuckle softly at the way Aether blushes at his words. He's only half-joking; if he had another chance at setting things up for this moment, he would do it properly. He would make it romantic, serve Aether a candlelit dinner with all of his favorite dishes, shower him with flowers and gifts, carry him into bed himself and tell him exactly what his intentions are. He hadn't expected to get caught off guard like this when he decided to come into the Traveler's room to wake him for the day. The blind spot Heizou has for him is clearly bigger than he'd thought.

Raising himself up a little, he presses a gentle kiss to the other's cheek. He's also blushing a bit again, butterflies in his stomach just from hearing such sweet words from Aether. The Traveler is endlessly kind. It's one more thing that makes Heizou fall for him a little more everyday.]

You're so good to everyone around you, my dear partner. So considerate and selfless... Let me be the one to take care of you for once, okay?

[He presses their foreheads together again, looking deep into Aether's eyes like he's searching for all the answers in the universe there.]

Are you nervous?

[How romantic. That would be a night to remember indeed, but fate likes playing tricks on people. One could say that the way things went for them was far more interesting, even if a bit silly.

Either way, Aether is very grateful for what he has. He smiles at that small kiss and gently reaches out to touch his partner's cheek. Their foreheads are lined together again, making him want to keep this soft moment forever in his mind.]

Considerate and selfless... [He repeats, then lightly shakes his head.] I just do what needs to be done. And I get paid for that, too.

[Surely, he can't be so selfless when he does want every mora he can get. It's essential for his journey! On the other hand...]

But... I have to admit I like doing things for others. [He gives Heizou a small smile.] And if you think that I won't try to do something for you, then you are very much wrong.

[Especially that it's such a special moment!]

Didn't I say it before anyway? I'm a star that fell from the sky. I want to make all your wishes come true.

[His smile brightens but it quickly mixes with embarrassment.]

Ah, but... I am a bit nervous. I can't really deny that.

[This has certainly worked out for the best. How could Heizou possibly regret any of it when it's meant getting to cuddle and giggle with Aether under the sheets all morning? Getting to hold him and kiss him and just shower him with all the affection he can?

His smile grows as he listens to Aether's "protests", just idly rubbing his nose to Aether's the whole time. He won't change his mind. The Traveler accepts money from the people he helps because he needs the funds to travel and eat. But he's still more generous than he needs to be when it comes to spending it, and Paimon seems to guzzle down any excess of mora in the form of food. Heizou doesn't see any selfishness there. He sees someone who simply knows his own worth and spends wisely. He sees someone he cares for deeply. That he maybe even loves.]

Hmm... My magic star has already made so many of my wishes come true today. I think it's my turn to give him something nice~

[He gives Aether a quick, chaste kiss on the lips. Innocent and soft. Loving.] I'll take good care of you, Aether. Do you trust me?

[Can there really be anything more endearing than a loving partner showering you with sweet words and even sweeter affections? Aether couldn't fight this even if he wanted to, truly touched by the other's sentiment. There's a small sigh coming from him, then a smile follows.]

I trust you.

[His heart beats faster in his chest, as some dose of excitement rushes through his veins. He's looking forward to everything Heizou wants to give him. Aether trusts him and that helps fight off any hesitation or nervousness he was initially feeling.

The traveler shifts a little to lean upwards and press a small adoring kiss to his partner's forehead, before smiling and lying down yet again, comfortably settling on the mattress.]

I'm all yours.

[Heizou's eyes flutter shut at the way Aether leans up to press his lips to his head, leaning into the contact with a smile. It's so soft and sweet, and it tells him so much more than what he's saying out loud. He can practically feel Aether's trust around him, wrapping him up like a warm blanket, and as he settles back into the mattress beneath him Heizou becomes determined to prove that he's deserving of it. Of all of it. Of Aether himself.

He's never wanted to be more deserving of anything in his life.

He leans in again, pressing another gentle kiss to his partner's lips, letting his hands ease down his sides to settle on either side of his hips. He does nothing more than hold him for now, pulling back just far enough to be heard when he speaks.]

If at any time it's too much and you want me to stop... Just say so and I will. Okay? [Another little kiss, searching for that reassurance.] Promise me?

[Those gentle kisses are everything. They put him in a daze, make him sigh softly. He almost doesn't know how to respond when Heizou asks him for a promise. His touch is both grounding and distracting as well.]

Don't worry. [He finally gathers his thoughts and smiles.] I promise.

[He reaches up, yet again stroking his partner's face, before his fingers move to brush away some strands of hair from the other's eyes.]

I know I can tell you everything.

[He knows how much Heizou cares about him and he feels so lucky right now to have a partner so considerate and caring. Aether never thought he'd be in this kind of relationship with anyone, letting someone so close to himself, but if it's Heizou... He's really looking forward to experiencing everything with him.]

[He smiles as he presses into yet another kiss, Aether's promise settling into his heart. It means so much to him to know that the other will be open and honest with him. Especially like this, when they're pressed so close together, warm and wanting... The last thing Heizou wants to do is hurt him, even by accident. He could never.]

I'll be gentle.

[And he is. He's slow and gentle with everything he does, from the way his hands seek out and glide over Aether's skin to the way he peppers kisses to his lips and body. He murmurs soft praises into his ear when their hips roll together, little declarations of adoration and affection meant only for his precious star to hear and feel. And no matter how hot Heizou burns for Aether he makes sure to be so, so careful when their bodies finally become one. This isn't just about wanting him, or seeing a moment of passion all the way through.

It isn't just sex. It's making love.

They lose track of all time this way, with Heizou being all too eager to make Aether feel good again and again and again. If Paimon or anyone else tries to come in to check on them, they either don't notice or are left alone. It's a long while before they're finally satisfied, and Heizou just curls up around Aether from behind, sleepily nuzzling into the back of his neck and peppering the area with more light kisses.]

[He could never imagine Heizou hurting him. There's so much kindness in every kiss, every reassurance that he offers Aether. The traveler realizes that he puts so much trust in his partner. Maybe one day he could tell him the story of his life or about the loneliness he's been feeling all these long years. Right now that hole in his heart seems to be gone, filled to brim with warmth of love. He finally belongs somewhere. He finally has his "home".

His senses are completely flooded as the gentle kisses are planted all over his skin. Every touch is caring and loving, making it so easy to give himself away completely to his partner - his lover. It's pure bliss. A kind that could not be fully comprehended unless one actually experiences it. A pleasure so wonderful that he could not imagine ever sharing this kind of moment with someone other than Heizou.

Maybe Aether's just so easily affected? Even those soft whispers make him tremble, every kiss and touch pulling a reaction from him, a moan or a breathless sigh. His own hands seek out his lover's skin, wanting to feel him, show tender appreciation for everything he's doing. Loving kisses are returned, words of affection are met with just as adoring declarations whispered against the skin between small gasps.

He sinks only further in pleasure the moment they unite. It's like drowning, but instead of cold darkness there's only love. The world stopped mattering so long ago and even the time seems to have stopped. In this very moment, Aether can only see Heizou, only think about him, only want to be forever with him. Between all the moans he whispers a small "I love you" before giving in to the bliss so great he almost blacks out for a second.

And it doesn't even end there. His partner is doing his absolute best to give him all the pleasure in the world. Aether's brain is completely scrambled by the end of it and he feels utterly exhausted. But also satisfied. And relaxed. He's never felt this relaxed in his entire life.

...So many new experienced today.

The traveler's face is still bright red as he lays in his partner's arms. His eyes are closed, every muscle in his body melting into Heizou and into the mattress, like he was always meant to be there. The light kisses feel so good against his skin.]

I could stay like this forever. [He mutters, his hands grabbing onto Heizou's and holding them close as Aether sighs.]

The bed really claimed us both. [He says jokingly. He's never got up from it and he's ready to sleep again, but can someone even blame him?]

[It's absolute bliss. It really is like they'd transported themselves to a whole other world... Heizou still swears he's died and gone to heaven, because how could heaven possibly be any better than what he has here in this bed with Aether? He could spend eternity here, intimately connected with his partner - his lover - and have no complaints at all. Every sigh and kiss and declaration of love makes his heart sing, and even as they simply lay together in the afterglow he's still replaying them in his mind.

I love you. He'd heard Aether whisper those three words in the midst of his passion, and it had actually made Heizou's heart skip a beat. Aether loves him. It's hard for his mind to fully grasp the idea that someone as wonderful as the Traveler could love him, of all people, but-- he wants to. He feels the same way, he knows he does, but it catches in his throat in a way that makes it difficult to say out loud. He's... not ready. Not just yet.

For now Heizou just smiles into Aether's skin, letting their fingers twine together with a soft, content sigh. At least feeling good together is easy. At least his body can tell Aether how much he loves him without his brain getting in the way.]

Mmm, yes it did... It is a very powerful bed, you know. [He chuckles a little at their shared joke.] We probably shouldn't let anybody else ever use it. For their own safety~

[Plus they're going to need to clean this bed pretty thoroughly. Obviously neither of them mind the state of it at the moment; it's a nice warm nest that smells like the both of them and feels like safety. But as appealing as the idea of staying there forever is at the moment... They really shouldn't.

But that's for later.]

How're you feeling? [Heizou pulls Aether's hand up to where he can press a little kiss to his fingers.] I didn't hurt you, did I?

[Even if Heizou didn't say those three words, Aether still felt very much loved. He could feel it in every touch, every kiss, every affection whispered into his ear. Even right now when there are soft kisses pressed to his skin and they both continue with their shared joke, he feels loved and cared for.]

Don't worry. This bed belongs only to us, so no one else should fall victim to it.

[It's still not that far into the day, but the welcoming warmth and the overtaking sense of safety (as well as blissful exhaustion) makes him want to take a nap. Even if this moment can't last forever, because they will have to face the day sooner or later and clean up the mess they made... It definitely doesn't have to be right away. Today is the traveler's day off, after all.

At the question, Aether blinks, before smiling gently.]

I feel... wonderful. [He laughs under his breath.] Honestly, it's difficult to describe. It's such a good feeling.

[Now he claims Heizou's hand to press a kiss to his fingers.]

And of course you didn't hurt me. You were so considerate, so perfect, but...

[He pauses, then turns his head a little to look at his lover.]

I hope I didn't make it difficult on you...

[He wishes for both of them to enjoy their time together as much as possible. He wishes for Heizou to always know how loved he is.]

[He'll be able to say them one day. Until then he's grateful that Aether understands what he can only say with his actions.

And those reasssurances make Heizou feel so warm. Calling the bed theirs fills him with such joy that he can't help but snuggle in closer. When his fingers are kissed as well he only laughs. Though at that comment about making things difficult, Heizou quickly shakes his head, shifting so they can look at each other properly again.]

No no, my star, of course you didn't! [He gives him a comforting smile, calmly smoothing a hand back over his hair.] You're perfect. Don't ever worry about me, okay? Making you feel good is all I care about.

[Aether really loves feeling his partner snuggle so close to him and he easily moves enough to look at him too. But what Heizou say doesn't sit well with him. The traveler is quiet for a moment, before shifting so he could lie on top of the other. His forehead presses against Heizou's, his hand gently runs against his cheek. Aether's long hair easily slide from his back and shoulders, like yet another barrier separating them from the world around.]

In that case we have a problem... Because I will always worry about you and I want you to feel good, too. [His eyes close, then he shakes his head with a small smile.] I can't believe you assumed I will take everything you give me without giving you anything in return. Because it doesn't work like that...

[His smile grows gentle and quiet as his eyes meet his lover's.]

My happiness is with you and I can only be happy when you're happy as well.

[How could he ever accept anything else?]

We are partners, remember?

[He presses the softest kiss to Heizou's lips.]

Next time... it'll be my turn to make you feel good. Don't forget that. [He grins.]

[Heizou rolls back so easily to accommodate Aether when he moves, finding himself blinking up at him with wide eyes while he speaks. And really all he can manage to do is stare at him the whole time. A blush has slowly spread across his face by the time Aether leans in to kiss him, and he instantly melts under him.]

Aether...

[He still feels like he doesn't deserve this happiness he's found with the Traveler. But Aether really does make him feel wanted and loved in a way he never has before, and it's something he wants to keep. Surely no one would blame him for feeling so selfish here.]

You're right. [He smiles softly, reaching up to stroke Aether's cheek with his fingers.] We're partners. We should always feel good together.

But you should still know that I really am happy with anything you wanna give me.

[His eyes are fond and the smile loving when he looks down at the door. Aether grabs the hand on his cheek and nuzzles into it, before tilting his head to start pressing kisses to Heizou's palm. Every single one is planted with care.]

I know.

[He murmurs smiling against the skin.]

But don't forget that I am your wishing star. [He laughs softly, before looking a bit more serious. The smile is always there.] ...We're partners, so don't be afraid to tell me what you want or what you like. We can... figure something out that will make both of us happy.

[Aether lays down, head hiding into his lover's shoulder.]

...I'm glad to have such a considerate partner like you.

[He's not used to being on the receiving end of all this affection. All the little kisses to his hands and such sweet words and promises being made. Somehow it makes the blush on Heizou's face deepen as he keeps looking at Aether, and his heart is back to making all sorts of noise in his chest. Compared to how seriously Aether looks at him, how deeply their feelings for each other are, sex is significantly less flustering for Heizou.

His arms slide up around his lover as he lays back down, cradling him close and burying his nose into the crook of his neck with a soft chuckle. He feels so warm right now, like it's radiating out from his soul.]

I'm so lucky to have been chosen by you.

[He doesn't know why Aether loves him, but when Heizou loves him back this much he can really only think he got lucky.]

I'll always take good care of you. We'll take care of each other.

[Love works in mysterious ways. Aether didn't even know how deeply in love he was before Heizou came to drag him out of the bed. The traveler is really grateful all of that happened. He's grateful he got to meet his partner, grateful for every moment they get to spend with one another.

He nods sleepily, snuggling closer to the other, enjoying his warmth.]

That's right. We'll take care of each other. [He repeats.] And for now... let's have a nice nap together.

[Dozing off comes easily and Aether hopes that this will be his reality from now on: falling asleep and waking up in the arms of his beloved.]

[Heizou snuggles in tight as well, pressing one more light kiss to Aether's skin as his eyes slide shut. It's so easy to just relax and bask in his lover's warmth like this, and it quickly starts to lull him to sleep.]

Mmm. I'll be here when you wake up.

[The words are mumbled sleepily as Heizou starts to drift off. He really is looking forward to waking up together everyday from now on. And to many more lazy mornings to spend together just like this.]

[The world fall silent as they both sink into the comfort of each other's warmth. Maybe at some point Paimon peeked in to see what they're doing, then immediately retreated, embarrassed and forbidding anyone from entering the room.

Hours pass before Aether starts stirring awake. The nap was really very nice and for a moment he can't tell if he's still dreaming or if this is the reality. He smiles to himself, when he realizes that Heizou is still there.

The traveler closes his eyes once more, just happy to lay like this until his lover awakes.]

[When Aether wakes, he does find Heizou still at his side, snuggled up close with his arms wrapped around his waist. But he might also notice that some things have changed. He's been cleaned up, for one thing, and is now wearing a shirt. The sheets of the bed have also been changed, and there's a glass of water sitting on the nearby bedside table closest to Aether.

Clearly Heizou woke up at some point earlier and took it upon himself to take care of all the little things so Aether could continue to sleep peacefully. He's also put on some fresh clothes himself - though they're clearly Aether's - before sliding back into bed and going back to sleep in his lover's arms.

He does eventually start to wake up again, but this time is much lazier. His eyes don't even open as he nuzzles into the Traveler's chest, just breathing him in with a happy hum. Even half-asleep he can tell Aether's a little more awake than he is, so he mumbles out a sleepy little greeting.]

Mm... Good morning~

[It's not morning. It's nowhere near morning. It's probably closer to dinner at this point, but Heizou either doesn't remember or doesn't care.]

[The warmth by his side is distracting and making him smile fondly at his lover. Heizou looks so peaceful by his side, so adorable. Aether wishes he could always wake up to this sight.

It's no wonder it takes the traveler a longer moment to realize how much has changed: that the sheets have been replaced, that he's wearing a shirt now and he's been cleaned up as well. What kind of magic is this? Was he really sleeping so deeply that he didn't feel anything? Surely, Heizou had to move him from the bed to change the sheets.

Puzzled by this discovery, Aether spends another moment just giving his partner a questioning look, before sighing.]

Good morning.

[It's not morning at all, but none of them cares.]

I was hoping to take a nice bath with you once we are both awake, but it looks like you took care of everything by yourself.

[It's sweet how much Heizou does for him, but Aether wants to take care of his partner just as much. He wants to dote on him!]

[Heizou peeks up at him from where he's got his nose buried into Aether's chest. And he can really only smile when he sees that questioning look in his eyes. He knows exactly what that's about. Aether just confirms it for him by saying it out loud.]

We can still take a bath together~

[He'd actually like that a lot.]

I just woke up earlier and you looked so peaceful... I didn't have the heart to wake you.

[He did everything so carefully so that he wouldn't disturb him. This was the Traveler's day off! It was important that he get to sleep for as long as he wanted!]

[He breathes out the smallest sighs, but smiles all the same. Heizou really is something else.]

I appreciate that, but next time don't worry so much about waking me up.

[His fingers gently brush his partner's hair. It's a slow, affectionate motion.]

Every moment I get to spend with you is important to me.

[Especially considering what he is - a traveler, always out there somewhere doing yet another commission. Sometimes it's mundane, sometimes it's a grant adventure.

Aether kisses the top of Heizou's head.]

Anyway... let's have that bath together.
